Day one......off to a good start

Brenda loves to plan trips.  My only involvement was to make the comment, "Make sure that we don't stay in any shit-holes".  I would say she was paying attention!  We arrived at Chateau D'Artigny in Montbazon and..........it is no "SH"!!  Beautiful old chateau surrounded by many acres of wooded and tended property with a very "luxe" feel to the place.  This was after flying Corsair for the very first time and........it will not be our last.  Business class for slightly more than Air France charges for the back of the bus.  Highly recommended!  Then a very sleepy 2 hour drive in the pouring rain.  But we made it.  We are here for three nights to allow for exploring of all the main Loire chateaus and maybe drink some Vouvray.  I always forget that the pics show in this software in reverse order to how they were selected.  Below is 1 - Brenda saying "no more damn pics". 2 - The view from the front door of the chateau. 3 - a couple of pics inside the chateau. 4 - the exterior of the chateau. 5 - the gate house which is down a long and winding drive from the chateau.
